The thick cedar boards help resist warping and maintain more stable thermal conditions inside the chambers. Finished with 2 coats of stain plus 1 UV-resistant clear coat, the stained and sealed exterior withstands weather exposure without the chipping, cracking, or peeling commonly found with painted wooden bat houses.
- 304 STAINLESS STEEL HARDWARE: Every hinge, latch, mounting bracket, and fastener is made from 304 stainless steel for long-lasting outdoor performance. The lock and hinges feature a QPQ (Quench-Polish-Quench) coating, a corrosion-resistant surface treatment used in demanding outdoor and marine equipment applications. Assembled with stainless steel screws instead of nails, the joints stay secure and resist rust for years. Includes hardware for wall mounting. Pole and tree mounting are also supported and may require additional hardware depending on your installation setup.
