The John Elliott x Nike Air Force 1 Low “Triple White” is a collaborative effort between Los Angeles fashion designer John Elliott and Nike on the classic Air Force 1 Low. Streetwear heads and fashionistas have long adored Elliott for his sleek, modern approach to design that seamlessly fuses elements of sportswear with luxe high fashion. Staple wardrobe items like plain T-shirts and hoodies are just some of the many designs that Elliott has put his progressive spin on and, now, the Air Force 1 Low can be counted among the essential pieces re-imagined by Elliott. To the untrained eye, the Elliott-assisted Air Force 1 Low appears relatively untouched. A closer look reveals a silhouette awash with intricate details. The upper is comprised of a smooth white leather base with raised tonal white leather overlays appearing on the forefoot and lateral panel. Die-cut white Swooshes appear on the mid-panel with premium tumbled leather showing underneath. Elliott removes traditional Nike Air branding on the heel and also opts for a doubled tongue and lace eyestays. Completing the look is a white rubber sole with tonal Air branding on the midsole.
